Here's some of what is being said about my first e-book. I must say, it's been a very encouraging two weeks.
"After a cyber attack on the Cathedral, the torrential rains came and have been occurring for twenty years. The year is now 2119. Luna was the victim of an accident in a research lab and currently suffers from the Blister Wart Disease.
Luna's mission now is to try and develop a cure for the Wart disease. Many inhabitants of New Denver have this incurable disease. This story is a mix of high technology devices - including some incredible AI's. The V-244 Stratocruiser is the plane of dreams! The Swamplands are also visited on several occasions and a surprise awaits the visitors there.
I thought there was an interesting mix of characters, some evil (of course) and some hints of romance. Quite the battle ensues at the end of the book which tidied the story up nicely.
Highly recommended."
"Rain Saga was a different kind of read for me. YA and Science fiction. I learned quickly that this story was good. The author set up a plot and stuck to it. There are good guys, problems, bad guys and a spunky heroine. Mr. Barton writes with a good understanding of setting. His descriptions are visible and not lacking. The plot held true and the good guys won. Nice story. I recommend it. Marie F Martin, author."
"It has been a long time since I read a YA novel and I found I kept thinking about the characters and plot long after I was done reading. The depth and detail this author provides is many steps above the books I remember reading as a youth. I was drawn into this futuristic world and didn't want the book to end. Rain Saga is entertaining and thought provoking."
